Tibetan 5 Rites – Fountain of Youth

Mind-body practices such as meditation, Qigong, and yoga have endured for thousands of years for good reason. They work. They promote deep conscious relaxation that aids you on every level—right down to your genes.

The 5 Tibetan rites is an ancient exercise system originating from Tibet and which reportedly is more than 2,500 years old.

When incorporated and practiced regularly, these exercises rejuvenate activate and stimulate the seven key energy vortexes or chakras in the body, which in turn stimulate all the glands of the endocrine system. (In medicine dictionary,  Spinal Centers of the endocrine system (bundle of nerves) Are; medullary, cervical, dorsal, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal plexuses) It assists in opening the Chakras and therefore enhances your Well-Being and slows down the ageing process by releasing beneficial hormones.

Here are several Testimonials on the effectiveness of 5-Rites:

„T5T is an incredible and powerful program.  It turns back the clock.  It increases your energy, mental clarity and focus.  It reduces stress, and improves strength and flexibility.  It is capable of restoring your passion and zest for life if you let it.  I highly recommend it for anyone willing to improve their life.”…
~ John Gray, Bestselling Author of “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus”

“I have practiced yoga for many years, but after having my third child I needed some exercise that would put me back in shape and that took as little time as possible to do! T5T has been exactly what I needed. It is so simple, and yet so powerful in its effect.”…
~ Susan Hayward, bestselling author of A Guide for the Advanced Soul.

“I’ve been doing T5T every day for the last 3 years. I’ve lost 7 kilos in weight and it stays off without any additional effort!! I’ve got so much more energy and I feel better all-round. I’m less stressed, happy and able to plan my days better. The stiffness in my fingers is much better – almost non-existent. My friends are always saying how much better I look. ”
~ John Clemones, Managing Director – Special Tools & Storage Systems Pty Ltd

„The revised publications of The Eye of Revelation titled Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth also contain numerous testimonials by practitioners of the Rites, claiming that they yield positive medical effects such as improved eyesight, memory, potency, hair growth, restoration of full color to completely gray hair, and anti-aging. The benefits most likely to be achieved are increased energy, stress reduction, and an enhanced sense of calm, clarity of thought, increased strength and flexibility, resulting in an overall improvement in health and well-being.“ ~ from Five Tibetan Rites

The best time you will find out for doing these 5-Rites is immediately upon waking up. Make it into a habit to do these exercises when you wake up and very soon when it becomes an automatic response you’ll do it without even thinking, like washing your teeth’s for example. One more positive pro-health habit to have in your arsenal of good life’s-choices!

Now I would recommend doing 5-Tibetans before yoga or any fitness routine as  5-Rites take only 15-20 minutes and they emphasize “a continuous sequence of movement” (Sanskrit: vinyasa) which energize you, whereas Indian Yoga focuses on “static positions” which last longer depending how much you want to do each asana. Therefore your 5-Tibetan’s are much like a Stretch routine that aids you in preparation for either other activities or just everyday life.

5 Rites – 21 times .. (Tibetans believe 21 is a perfect number)

In the beginning, especially if you are novice and never had done any yoga or stretching you might feel a bit strain while doing certain exercises. Its okay, you can start from five repeats and slowly and steadily build up all the way to twenty-one when you become ready. Therefore if you feel ANY discomfort – skip and do another Rite.

5 simple techniques, 20 minutes a day is all it takes for a youthful, energetic you.

An important part of the Tibetan exercises is a conscious synchronization of breathing while performing physical activity:

  • Inhale.
  • Hold filled lungs.
  • Exhale.
  • Hold empty lungs.
    5 Rites:
  1. Clockwise spins with arms extended shoulder height.
  2. Leg rising.
  3. Camel
  4. Tabletop
  5. Downward dog (inhale) to Cobra pose (exhale)

I am photographically narrating execution of each movement below:

Rite 1
Stand straight, with your hands horizontally stretched to the floor, palms facing down; start spinning around on your toes (from Left to Right) in circular movement till you become slightly dizzy. Image

Rite 2
Lie flat on the floor, arms extending fully alongside your body and place the palms of your hands on the floor keeping fingers together. Then raise your head tucking your chin into your chest while you simultaneously lift your legs into a vertical position, as seen on the picture.

ImageBreathing: Inhale deeply as you lift your head and legs and exhale as you lower your legs and head.

Rite 3.
Kneel on the floor with your body erect. Place your hands on the back of your thigh muscles. Incline the head and neck forward and tuck your chin in against your chest, then throw the head backward, arching the spine. Keep your toes curled. As you arch backwards brace your arms and hands against the thighs for support, then return your body to an erect position. Repeat all over again.Image

Breathing: Inhale as you arch the spine and exhale as you return to an erect position.

Rite 4.
Sit down on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you and your feet slightly apart. With the trunk of your body erect place the palms of your hands on the floor alongside your buttocks. Then tuck the chin forward against your chest. Now drop your head backwards and at the same time raise the lower part of your body so that the knees bend while the arms remain straight (Camel or “Bridge” position). Then return into a sit position with the trunk of your body erect. Relax and repeat again.

Breathing: Inhale as you raise your body up, hold your breath tense all the muscles, exhale as you come fully back down.
ImageRite 5.
Lie down facing the floor and support yourself with arms as if trying to do push-ups. (Cobra Asana) Keep yourself in this sagging position and drop your head as far out too. Then flip into it’s opposite, bend at the hips, bring the body up into an inverted “V” position. At the same time, bring the chin forward.

Breathing: Inhale deeply upon raising the body, and exhale fully as you lower the body.
Image Enjoy your practice!

SoundWave Meditation

Enlightenment in the Age of Neurotechnologies

“Kundalini is associated with massive waking Delta, which we know confers enormous powers upon the person. And both Samadhi and Satori are characterized by high amplitude Alpha all over the head, although they differ in ways that explain the differences in Zen and Yoga philosophies.”

~ Dr. James V. Hardt, Biocybernaut Institute

Enlightenment is an accident, and meditation makes you more accident prone” – Ken Wilber

For millennia Shamans and Yogis and Meditators throughout the world and from all diverse kinds of cultures were doing the healing’s and consciousness transformation through some use of ritualistic forms, methods or tools. Shamanic rituals, Yoga schools, and Meditation Schools were all used as methods for personality change, personal growth and healing and some of those for consciousness exploration.

Yoga was originally a natural process of introversion…. Such introversion’s lead to characteristic inner processes of personality changes. In the course of several thousand years these introversion’s became gradually organized as methods or the paths, schools of yoga.

Meditation itself is a process of great introversion and self-reflection with the same outcome as one of yoga paths, to transform consciousness. Shamanic methods have aided people in healing troublesome emotions, were a catalyst of sorts for shadow integration and are a tool for consciousness transformation ultimately. All paths have the same outcome.

“Meditation is the Royal road to higher structures of Consciousness”
~ Wilber Ken

Traditional meditation is a good form of spiritual practice that you can use daily to combat stress, to come in the present state of now awareness, to gain insights in your patterns or for enjoyment per se. Traditional meditation is often very slow process and you actually can‘t meditate very deep on your own. High-tech tools can bring you down from conscious alert beta into alpha and down to theta and keep you into delta in about half hour time, something which you will never accomplish on your own quite likely, unless you‘re a Tibetan Yogi. Bottom line is that the more stress comes out of your nervous system – more at peace you will be. With and without meditation tool.

Beta (14-30 Hz) Concentration, arousal, alertness, cognition. Higher levels associated with anxiety, unease, feelings of separation, fight or flight

Alpha (8-13.9 Hz) Relaxation, super learning, relaxed focus, light trance, increased serotonin production. Pre-sleep, pre-waking drowsiness, meditation.

Theta (4-7.9 Hz) Dreaming sleep (REM) increased production of catecholamine’s (vital for learning and memory) increased creativity. Integrative, emotional experiences, potential change in behavior, increased retention of learned material. Trance, deep meditation, access to unconscious mind.

Delta (.1-3.9 Hz) Dreamless sleep. Human growth hormone released. Deep trance like, non-physical state, loss of body awareness. Access to unconscious and “collective unconscious” mind.

Deep Meditation has been found to be an excellent tool, not exactly a bullet proof, but nonetheless it works for millenia !

And our high-tech brainwave entrainment technology causes these states of consciousness conductive for inner work and self reflection. Extremely deep meditation makes an easy way to completely empty the mind from past conditioning like traumas, beliefs and pain.

SoundWave® Meditation will stir up some unconscious stuff from time to time and it is absolutely necessary to allow this purging process to happen in order for you to experience new sense of well-being and inner peace as well as healing of old stuff. In the process your brain chemistry will be fixed and the neuro-endocrine system issues as well, making you be more balanced across all Brains.

It is not possible to grow as a person without integrating some of, or all of your shadows. When you get  used to it it‘s not that scary after all, if it happens you treat it as another bodily job that you have to take  care of and it comes in cycles like everything else in nature.

  Appearance → Experience → Disappearance

It is important to let go of those feelings as the only thing they want is to be heard and then they dissipate on their own leaving you ecstatic and peaceful. You will happen to like release followed by clarity and peace. Might be a good deal?

HighTech EnlightenmentThe Psychophysiological Principle, states:

Any experience that you have, you have only while you are having a specific brain wave pattern. If your brain wave patterns change, then your experiences will change.

Using SoundWave® Meditation Product your Brainwaves change from waking stressful Beta to relaxed Alpha then to drowsy Theta and healing peaceful Delta. Enlightenment happens after all hurt all stress and all pain has been excreted from the system then the natural happening is allowing the path to nothingness to unfold. We identify with the void once there is no pain. Simple.

SoundWave® neurotechnology will create deep, fast results in your personal growth.

It will accelerate your mental, emotional and spiritual growth, giving you the results you always thought you were supposed to get from meditation (but, if you’re like most people, never really got).

May your Journey with SoundWave Meditation technology be one filled with peace, gratifying inner change and deep undisturbed happiness.

Intelligence Increasing !

Hello and Welcome !

Are you already smart enough to appreciate the value of becoming more intelligent? If yes, then let me give you some ideas.. I’ve personally tried all these methods, tools and I highly recommend all of them !

Dr. NiRo

Underwater Breath Holding

1. For accumulating 20 hours of held-breath underwater swimming within 3 weeks from start to finish– 10 or more points I.Q. gain; better span of attention; better span of awareness; better awareness of the inter-relatedness of things and of ideas and/or perceptions; finding yourself way better at winning arguments or disputes! (20 or so seconds to 3 minutes at a time underwater, stretching the time a little each dip but remaining well within the bounds of comfort and safety – be sure someone with you there is aware of what you are doing.

2. Independently conducted state university tests, running since 1989, demonstrate that with the second procedure, Image Streaming, per hour of easy entertaining practice one gains 8/10ths of a point “I.Q.” With 25 hours’ such practice, multiple points are gained, as are considerable classroom-related academic skills, a better balance of types of mental functioning according to the Kolb inventory, and even more striking in the more numinous but as yet unmeasured aspects of intelligence, creativity and experience. Where participants have participated to 50 hours, 40 points “I.Q.” gain appear and we have not yet found any point where the benefits might start tailing off.

How about.. Personal Growth on Steroids!? – Here are some of the benefits:

Increase your threshold for stress…deal with the ups and down of life much more easily…protect yourself from serious physical and emotional problems caused by stress… Create whole-brain thinking…dramatically increase mental abilities, creativity, learning ability, focus and concentration… End anxiety, fear, anger, depression, sadness, self-sabotage, substance abuse, and overeating… Be happier, more peaceful, more compassionate, more at ease…

…..by Melvin D. Saunders

……Ambidexterity is the ability to use both your hands with equal ease or facility, but if you’re armless, it could be your feet! In fact, it is quite advantageous in certain sports and martial arts to be able to use both your feet with equal facility. The Greeks encouraged and tried to promote ambidexterity because it was simply logical in sports and battle to be adept with both hands instead of one. By combining the Phoenician style of writing right to left with their own left to right system, the Greeks created a reading and writing system called boustrophedon, where the lines ran alternately right-to-left and left-to-right. With alternating sweeps of the eyes back and forth, reading was more swift and efficient.

……Michelangelo (1475-1564) was a multi-faceted genius like Leonardo da Vinci. He often painted with both hands. When one got tired, he switched to the other. British artist, Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873) could draw with both hands simultaneously — a horse’s head with one hand and a stag’s head with the other. He taught drawing and etching to Queen Victoria who was a lefty that became ambidextrous.

……Fleming, Einstein and Tesla were all ambidextrous. Benjamin Franklin was also ambidextrous and signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution with his left hand. U.S. 20th president, James Garfield was a well educated backwoodsman born in a log cabin. Although he could write with either hand with equal ease, he could also write Greek with his left hand and Latin with his right hand simultaneously! Harry Kahne demonstrated his mental dexterity in 1922 by performing several mental operations simultaneously. While one hand was writing mirror language, the other hand intermingled upside down and backward letters.

……Rats given diverse and enriched environments have more connective dendritic spines to their neurons and overall heavier brains than rats exposed to dull, unchallenging environments. Left-handed and ambidextrous people have 11% larger corpus callosa (the bundle of nerve fibers joining the right and left sides of the brain) than right handed people. An autopsy of Einstein’s brain revealed a larger profusion of superficial capillaries interlacing the cerebral cortex than the average brain, as well as an additional amount of glial cells. Obviously the more we use and exercise our brain, the more it physically grows. The following exercises are designed to task the little used areas of the brain to allow such growth.

……To be able to use both hands equally well, practice is the key. During the day, use your left hand more (if you’re right-handed) by consciously switching when you’re about ready to do something — pouring a glass of milk, bouncing a ball, flipping and picking up coins, hammering a nail, cutting and buttering bread, stirring your coffee, swirling water in a glass, twisting off bottle caps, etc. Wherever you would use your one hand, use the other instead — putting a key in the door, combing your hair, brushing your teeth, shaving, grasping objects, etc. When putting on your clothes, put your other hand or foot into the garment first. Thread your belt around your waist in the opposite direction. Put your watch on your other hand. Use your other hand in sports — hitting a baseball or a tennis ball, throwing a football, shooting a basketball, etc. Practice stirring 2 cups of tea simultaneously, swirling 2 half filled glasses of water clockwise and counterclockwise, and bouncing two balls at the same time. Get used to the kinesthetic feeling of using the muscles of both your hands and arms together. Catch 2 balls thrown to you at the same time. Throw 2 paper wads at the same time into the same paper basket — one underhand and the other overhand. Throw 2 darts simultaneously at a dart board with both hands. Write with both hands at the same time. Draw a butterfly, a vase or a geometric figure using both hands simultaneously, but keep practicing these exercises.

……Many musical instruments are played ambidextrously, and many athletes are adept at using both of their hands. Since swimming is an ambidextrous activity, teaching dyslectic children to swim often helps them to read and write normally because it balances the brain hemispheres. Become ambidextrous and along with an added physiological brain growth, a more balanced integration of your 2 hemispheres will be achieved. Studies have shown that ambidextrous people are more emotionally independent, more determined, more adaptable to new situations and more apt to handle problems without giving up.

A new study published in the journal Nature finds that learning to juggle may cause certain areas of your brain to grow.

Many people think of IQ as a genetic trait, like brown eyes or short legs: You’re born with it and you’re stuck with it. Now, a growing body of research is showing that a person’s IQ can rise—and even fall—over the years. ~ Sue Shellenbarger explains

Scores can change gradually or quickly, after as little as a few weeks of cognitive training, research shows. The increases are usually so incremental that they’re not immediately perceptible to individuals, and the intelligence-boosting effects of cognitive training can fade after a few months.

In the latest study, 33 British students were given IQ tests and brain scans at ages 12 to 16 and again about four years later by researchers at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at University College London; 9% of the students showed a significant change of 15 points or more in IQ scores.

On a scale where 90 to 110 is considered average, one student’s IQ rose 21 points to 128 from 107, lifting the student from the 68th percentile to the 97th compared with others the same age, says Cathy Price, professor of cognitive neuroscience at the center and co-author of the study, published last month in Nature. Another student’s score skidded out of the “high average” category, to 96 from 114.

“Changes in IQ scores may be reflected in actual shifts in brain structure.” ~ Dr. Price

New tasks stimulate the brain most. When researchers at the University of Hamburg subjected 24 non-jugglers into two groups and assigned one group to practice juggling for three months. The scientists performed brain scans on the volunteers using magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, before and after they learned to juggle.  They found an increase in the corresponding gray matter in the brain as early as seven days after the training began. The added gray matter receded when the training was stopped, although the participants were still able to juggle, says the study, published in 2008 in PLoS One.

The type of MRI scans the researchers used allowed them to focus on structural changes rather than changes in brain activity. Using a sophisticated analysis technique called voxel-based morphology, the researchers were then able to investigate changes in brain gray matter, the area of the brain that consists mostly of the cell bodies of neurons rather than the connective fibers.

The study found that volunteers who did not train to juggle showed no difference in their brain scans over the three-month period. However, those who now acquired the skill demonstrated an increase in gray matter in two areas of the brain involved in visual and motor activity, the mid-temporal area and the posterior intraparietal sulcus.

Scientists defined increases as a bigger volume and higher density of gray matter in those areas.

Music lessons are linked to higher IQ throughout life, according to research by E. Glenn Schellenberg, a psychology professor at the University of Toronto at Mississauga. Six years’ lessons lifted children’s IQ scores an average 7.5 points; those gains eroded to two points by college age, says a study published in 2006 in the Journal of Educational Psychology.

In a study this year, researchers at the University of Kansas found practicing musicians who are active for a decade or more continue to post higher IQs beyond age 60.

( Brain Game: Chess )

Chess is thought by many to raise your IQ by at least 5 points. Did you know that every decade the average IQ increases 3 points? Well, not in everybody, I hope that ‘everybody’ won’t be you however.

Playing chess is one operation that fully exercises your mind. Chess is quite like a brain tonic which enhances concentration, patience, and perseverance, as well as develops creativity, intuition, memory, and most importantly, the ability to process and extract information from a set of general principles, learning to make tough decisions and solving problems flexibly. Most importantly it teaches one, a golden virtue — the virtue of Patience.

Things that are increased in Everyone through Chess:

Visual-spatial processing
Quantitative reasoning
Working memory
Fluid reasoning
Nonverbal IQ

Tetris_Lampe_Action2( Brain Game: Tetris )

Here’s a puzzle worthy of an IQ test: Why have scores on IQ tests risen by about 30 points since these assessments became widespread? People have lots of theories about the so-called Flynn Effect, but Julian Lyles Bass-Krueger, 14, of Clinton, NY, attributes it to the “increased cognitive complexity of our environment.”? A key culprit? Tetris.

Yes, this addictive game that has you rotating shapes to fit into a grid until you go mad may actually be making you smarter. Past studies have found that when people play Tetris initially, they use more glucose, suggesting that their brains are working hard. Over time, though, glucose usage returns to normal. In other words, the brain has to work less hard the more it practices. It becomes primed to solve related problems quickly. Bass-Krueger wanted to test how large this effect was. He had some of his several dozen subjects play Tetris for 15 minutes. Then he gave everyone a spatial reasoning test similar to those used in IQ assessments. The results were staggering: Tetris players scored more than 55% higher than the control group. “Even in 15 minutes it can still have an effect,”

(That doesn’t mean their overall IQ went up that much, of course; the spatial reasoning test is just a small fraction of an IQ test.) The idea that games can boost brain power “ as measured by IQ tests “ raises interesting questions. On the minus side, it suggests that some intelligence tests can be, well, gamed (“it depends how you define intelligence,”? Bass-Krueger says). On the positive side, such brain games could be used to boost brain function in people suffering from Alzheimer’s and other diseases.

IQ or Intelligence Quotient is a measure of intelligence according to some standardized tests. It is generally inherited, but childhood environment (nutrition etc.) plays a part too. Until now, no exercise was known to improve adult persons IQ.

In New Scientist article: “Simple brain exercise can boost IQ”:

“Can mental training improve your intelligence? No video game or mental puzzle has convincingly been shown to work. But now a group of neuropsychologists claims it has found a task that can add points to a person’s IQ – and the harder you train, they say, the more you gain.”

The task used is called dual n-back. N-back is a memory test where n refers on how many previous stimuli must be remembered. Dual means that verbal auditory stimulus and spatial visual stimulus are presented at the same time. Two memory tests are ran simultaneously and n previous auditory and spatial targets must be remembered separately.

For example, in 2-back series, target sounds are marked red in the following sequence:

Kid Learning Rosetta Stone

Learning new Language(s) may not improve “IQ” directly, but knowing different languages may help your brain think in completely different ways. It will change the order and the sequence of the neurons that were firing off, the number and the shape of the axons and the dendrites in your cortex, therefore your Brain will be more heavier as result, with denser interconnections between neurons. (Rich experiences = Rich Brains)

“Rosetta Stone TOTALe may be the next best thing to living in a country” – The Wall Street Journal

I haven’t seen any “longitudinal study” about it but I am sure it WILL make you smarter. Rosetta Stone is really Great Software and I love it and use it and it’s so “easy” that I am learning 3 languages simultaneously. They even lowered they prices and are now offering more languages in their catalog.

“Through the study of other languages, students gain a knowledge and understanding of the cultures that use that language and, in fact, cannot truly master the language until they have also mastered the cultural contexts in which the language occurs.” – this occurs in Rosetta Stone more so than any class or other program on the market as Rosetta Stone is the only program that teaches you the language in context without translation and also uses stories to teach you more about the people and culture of the language you are learning – and they even do that without translation.

“Formerly, most teaching in foreign language classrooms concentrated on the how (grammar) to say what (vocabulary). While these components of language are indeed crucial, the current organizing principle for foreign language study is communication, which also highlights the why, the whom, and the when. So, while grammar and vocabulary are essential tools for communication, it is the acquisition of the ability to communicate in meaningful and appropriate ways with users of other languages that is the ultimate goal…”

Rosetta Stone accomplishes this more so than any other program and most classes as they teach grammar in context, as they provide native tutors with whom to learn from and other learners and natives of the target language with whom to practice communication skills with. The Grammar-translation method (GTM) was developed two decades ago with the purpose of learning how to read the literature of classical languages such as Greek and Latin – it was never designed with the intent to teach the learner how to communicate in the target language and it goes without saying that most students who learn using GTM will admit that they cannot participate in a conversation in a foreign language.

Some Random Feedback:

“I love Rosetta Stone’s German edition so MUCH! I learn more in a week with Rosetta Stone than I did in a year of high school German class! I really wish Rosetta Stone had been available in the late 80’s. ;-)”

“My children and I are currently using the French program. I’m almost done with the first level. French is not an easy language, but RS’s approach is nearly foolproof. [I especially like that I can adjust the level for how accurate the pronounciation needs to be.] I have taken language classes in the past and I have learned as much in 4 months with RS as I did in 2 semesters in a traditional classroom.”

“I picked up German. I am stunned at how fast im learning to speak a new language! I am a total fan of Rosetta Stone! i would recomend this to anyone! Wow, stunned and excited! Im getting a second one once im fluent in German!”

Amazonian Personal Growth Medicine – Purging Wasca

Before anything else, ask the question: Why do you want to drink Ayahuasca?

“It is an X-ray machine, not only of the health, but of the virtue, maturity, humility, and equilibrium of the person. Since very few of us are saints, the shock between what you think yourself to be and what you really are produces strong reactions… The truth is not that yajé is too strong for us, but that we are too weak for it… [It] is a battle and the field of combat is in your guts… All you have to do is to let the vine carry out its work, but without a sufficient experience… you are stuck between the nausea and your fear, which produces an unbearable anguish, because it is a nightmare that seems to have no end. The evil spirits that you see in this fix, which are reflections of the battle between the true and false self, take on a life of their own, so as well as the physical pain and distress of self-recognition, you have to deal with monsters…. The feedback between [the drinker’s] fear and the fire in the guts drives the suffering into a spiraling descent, a circle so vicious and dizzying that he sometimes believes it will terminate in death…. There were still times when the terror was absolute, instants of dread that I will carry to my grave.” — Jimmy Weiskopf

“I will never forget what it was like. The overwhelming misery. The certainty of never-ending suffering. No one to help you, no way to escape. Everywhere I looked: darkness so thick that the idea of light seemed inconceivable…. the emotional charge of suffering nearly unbearable. I felt as if I would burst from heartbreak — everywhere, I felt the agony of humankind, its tragedies, its hatreds, its sorrows.” — Kira Salak

“Pablo said he had several frightening experiences with ayahuasca. Three times he thought he was going to die… Frightening ayahuasca experiences are quite frequent. It is common that people take ayahuasca only once, and are afraid to take it again…. Ayahuasca is not something to play with. It may even kill, not because it is toxic in itself, but because the body may not be able to stand the spiritual realm, the vibrations from the spirit world. [Note: it will not actually kill you, but it can make you believe that you are dying.] … ‘One needs courage, a strong discipline, and to proceed by degrees. It is a long process that might take two or three years before one can venture into the higher realms.'” — Luis Eduardo Luna and Pablo Amaringo

“Yagé is many things, but pleasant isn’t one of them.” — Wade Davis

“The worse the experience, the better the payoff. There is only one requirement for this work: You must be brave. You’ll be learning how to save yourself.” — Kira Salak

In it I am learning what I did not yet know..” — Santo Daime hymn

1. Introduction of Ayahuasca:

Ayahuasca is a drink famous in the Amazon. Used by the many tribes for visionary, healing and cleansing ceremonies. It’s prepared traditionally in a number of different ways by the different tribes. It always includes an MAO inhibitor and depending on the tribe one of many various admixtures containing DMT. This is a powerful visionary and spiritual brew used for a very long time by the Shamans in Peru for healing and spiritual proposes. They believe this heals your spirit, soul and body.

The nature of Ayahuasca sets it apart from almost all other hallucinogens. The content and quality of these visions point towards a completely overwhelming occult scenario for the user. Users also seem to see the experience as real, not a “hallucination” in the usual sense of the word, and a portal to other worlds which exist alongside our own.

2. Effects of Ayahuasca:

What happens when you drink Ayahuasca is still a mystery to many people. The studies made into its history offer little insight into Ayahuasca’s transformational properties. Ayahuasca’s different effects follow a progressive path that includes cathartic and abreactive processes. Time is an important factor in this progression. Every experience reveals patterns and degrees of understanding according to the depth of previous experiences and the participants’ level of consciousness.

Ayahuasca is not a substance that can be defined through a consistency of effect. The memory constellations activated by Ayahuasca cannot be programmed, although the journey can be directed.  The pharmacological properties of the psychoactive compound in interaction with the biological antecedents are not enough to define the influence on the psyche. The compound will always interact with the psychological set of each individual (motivation, attitude, personality, mood, previous experiences) and the structure of the setting. The equation of those structures will be the result which influences the effect and the kind of journey to be experienced. The substance changes its effect on the brain according to the outside influence of the setting, a synthesis of the surrounding environment and the presence of one’s teacher, even more than the current emotional state of the participant. A person who takes it alone, for example, will have a totally different experience than if taken with some one who can direct the energy created by the Ayahuasca, enhancing its effects and shaping the journeys toward the place in the mind where God resides, which is the source for transformation.

The first stage of the effect is the change of modality of the senses. During the first ninety minutes, hearing becomes accentuated and feelings expand. From here the journey can take any direction.  As one enters other dimensions, leaving the plane of the physical body, a sense of floating in the air may occur.

3. Preparation of Ayahuasca:

First make a mix of 75% of the MAOI (Peganum Harmala, Banisteriopsis Caapi) and 25% of DMT (Mimosa Hostilis, Psychotria Viridis, and Diplopterys Cabrerana).  Add lemon (or lime) juice and water and cook this for 4 to 6 hours.

While the first one is cooking start the second, where you add the rest of the ingredients add Lemon (or lime), add water and let it cook for 4 to 6 hours.

When the first one is finished drink a glass slowly wait 30 minutes to hour and drink the second mixture slowly.

Note: In order to bring life back into the dried wood, it must first be brought into contact with water for 24 hours. Water is life, and by steeping the Liana in water for a full day/night cycle the spirit can enter back into the Ayahuasca. It will also become much easier to work with the vine. The material becomes soft and pliable. Simply split the whole vine lengthwise, and roughly break the pieces. Add enough water to cover the vine and leave for a day and a night.

The next day, the fibers will be soft, and after removing them from the water, they can easily be pounded with a hammer on a rock or other hard surface. Do this until all fibers are flattened and split so there is no need for further shredding or powdering.

4. Guidelines for Ayahuasca Rituals:

• Contra-indication with food:Do not consume any of the following nutrients during the day of the ritual: aged cheeses, wine, beer, cocoa, yeast extract, pineapple, soy sauce, cream, avocados, bananas, liver, coffee, figs, raisins, yogurt, sauerkraut, pickled herring;

• Do not eat anything 4 hours prior to rituals;
• Contra-indications with medicines and drugs:

Any medicine containing MAO inhibitors (Neural Enzyme Monoamine Oxidase) and or SSRIs such as anti-depressants like Prozac etc. can lead to coma and eventually to death when taken in combination with Ayahuasca or it’s analogues.

Sedatives and Tranquilizers, Antihistamines, Narcotics, Amphetamines, Asarone/Calamus, Tryptophan (large doses), Tyrosine (large doses), Phenelanine (large doses), Macromerine, decongestants, allergy medications, cold medications, diet pills, Methylphemidate, Asthma-inhalers, Meperidine, Levopoda, Dopamine, Carbamazipine, some antihypertensive medications, Sympathomimetic Amines (acting directly and/or indirectly), including Pseudoephedrine and Ephedrine.

• Do not drink alcohol and/or use drugs such as Mescalin, Cocaine, Heroine, XTC or 2CB and/or other Phenethylamines on the day of the ritual. Should you be a user of any of the above mentioned substances, or take any prescribed drugs, please inform the people you are drinking with;

• Wear white clothes to rituals. If white clothes are not available, wear light colors– no black or red;
• Have a blanket, a cushion and/or a pillow, warm clothes and a bottle of water with you for a comfortable journey;
• Avoiding sexual orgasms three days before and three days after the ritual will enhance your experience. Practicing Tantra, however, is highly recommended;
• Be aware!!! Should you have suffered or are still suffering psychiatric problems, psychosis or any mental disorder, you cannot and you should not attend to any Ayahuasca rituals unless under strict medical supervision.

“Ayahuasca has this ability to rewire your brain, it takes you back to another world that we have forgotten, why the human brain has atrophied, and why so much of it doesn’t seem to function in any particular way is a mystery, but the Ayahuasca experience takes you into these other worlds, and because the Aya experience is ordered, and because it’s logical and structured in there, it is like going to a lesson, where ever you finish one Aya journey, even if you go back a year later you pick up from where you finished, so it’s like a curriculum, and that curriculum shows you aspects of yourself, and sometimes physical healings go on or visionary experiences, or its an experience inside the mysteries of life, or the mysteries of nature. It seems to me a fantastic tool to teaching people a transdimensional world.”

“Ayahuasca completely alters your view of the world, even once is enough, once you have seen this other world, this transdimensional world of Aya the Goddess, Aya the Teacher, it really changes your view of the world, but I also think it changes it for the better because it makes you so much more compassionate.” – Stuart Wilde

“Research has been done on people who have done Ayahuasca, and they have come up with this concept called hemispheric fusion, what that means is the average human brain approaches sensory input in 1 of 2 ways, either in an analytical approach or an intuitive approach, either a left or right brained approach. One of the things they discovered with EEG experiments is that during an Ayahuasca experience, both sides of their brains are turned on, there is an analytical component and an intuitive component that are happening simultaneously, and this seems to carry on then and become their experience as they go forth after the Ayahuasca Journey.”

“With one of the things with Ayahuasca, by taking a molecule from a plant source, that has identically the same chemistry as the molecule in the brain, it seems to reactivate the pineal, which is a second-site, and a visionary brain begins to be awakened. ” – Ralph Miller

La Purga

Purging during an ayahuasca ceremony is not like performing normal bodily functions. In holistic health and yoga communities the mind and body connection is emphasized. People meditate to be more present, thinking less and experiencing more, clearing the head of mental detritus. More extreme detoxifying hot yoga classes have become more popular all across the United States. Bikram’s yoga class, for example, a 90 minute workout including 2 sets of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a 100+ degree room, with 50% humidity, was designed to detoxify the body and mind. People go to saunas to sweat out holiday debauchery, while ecstatic dance and Pilates awaken the repressed feminine. The list of metaphors and exercise practices related to detoxification both psychologically and bodily could go on, but nothing I have experienced comes anywhere close to what it feels like to purge and detoxify the body and mind in an ayahuasca ceremony. Ayahuasca purging is in a league of its own.

When I purge during an ayahuasca ceremony, it is not just the physical release, and it is not just the emotional, spiritual, or psychological release, but the phenomenal combination of all of the above into an astronomically unique event that makes the purge life altering. I mean never ever the same again. A scream becomes the unique story of an entire lifetime, reaching out into the periphery of individual freedom and diva-like melody. By screaming you claim back something repressed, fragmented or forgotten.

A vomit sounds inhumanly grotesque, painful, relevant, funny, and finally desperate, until somewhere a mountain crumbles and boulders drop like rain off the side of a cliff centuries old and steeped in words like “karma,” and “original sin.” Every muscle of the body forces bile and stress out of your soul. And it’s not just vomit. It’s everything you’ve been holding onto for the past six years. People releasing baggage like typhoons and avalanches.

At the same time it’s not all painful or scary. Laughter during an ayahuasca ceremony is the reunion of thousands of lost children and is often accompanied by tears and sobs like earthquakes, until you laugh so hard you vomit again like the birth of a star. This purge is soul shifting. It is the plate tectonics of your reality. People don’t just lose it when they purge. They feel every shred of their existence, of what it really means to be human, until they might burst, and then they explode and survive anyway.

I remember how my very first ayahusaca purge started, evolved, and finally finished my first night at El Puma Negro lodge. – Taken from Book: http://tinyurl.com/2cgg3qs

Darkness Retreat – Ancient Technology for Spiritual Alchemy

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light,”
Said Carl Jung, “but by making the darkness conscious.”

Darkness Retreat is a spiritual practice designed to help one navigate the Bardo, or the land of the dead and as well as to attain enlightenment in this lifetime. It varies from tradition to tradition but usual time period one dwells in the dark is from few days to few decades.

The author of this Blog ventured for it two times, a week at a time. I could do it longer but I was improvising with my house as an actual “retreat” and I have not jet had a MindFold mask but I have had lot’s of interesting experiences nevertheless. It felt at times as if I was Dreaming Awake, but really this is all dynamics of making the unconscious conscious. Darkness is a great catalyst for personal growth! Now, this form of Vision Quest can be overly intense particularly if you are sitting with your darker fears which may motivate some “out” of it rather than to pursue it thoroughly. But, understanding this, hopefully you’ll be fine. I hope you’ll continue to grow and evolve!
Master Mantak Chia offers this traditionally shamanic practice for modern use and it last’s usually about 2-3 weeks in duration in complete darkness and it’s fun. Some people find ‘Enlightenment’ via the help of this tool, if you are one of those feel free to leave a comment as to offer an encouragement to other willing aspirants on their spiritual journeys.

Excerpt explanation in a nutshell:

In the isolation from any external light the third eye (pineal gland) overflows with certain neurotransmitters that awaken the higher brain, the ability to imprint the brain. The imagination begins to externalize, and even when you open your eyes you walk within your imagination. It projects outwards and becomes a vivid light experience.

The brain becomes aware in its nervous system of itself. The nervous system starts to become aware of what it is doing, which makes it having the ability to program itself.

In the first 3 days one has sleep therapy, but once the pineal gland overflows the somatic neuro transmitters, you are having a wide open brain, like it was in the womb. In this state one can go to the metaprograms and establish a new electrical pathway. Not just a magnetic shift (which most adult metaprograming is based on), but engage an electrical shift in the core brain. Therefore, one has an adjusted view of how one filters reality and sees the interactivity by which one sees reality. The brain creates a hologram not the external world. When one comes out of the DR, one sees the light particles coming in through the eyes, and suddenly you become aware how everything you are seeing out there is actually created in your own head.

There is no such thing like color out there, that is created by our own brain. This is not a scientific theory any longer (or objective fact theoretically taught), but becomes ones own experience.

So one sees that one creates this hologram of the outside world when the nervous system becomes aware of itself. One can change, adjust and program this filter to see wider waves, because we see less than half percent of wave emanations (0.5% of 100% actual waves in the objective universe). To see more, and to adjust the filtration processor of the brain to the Unity Self, to start to transduce our Unity hologram of reality which then coherently is programing one..s nervous system.

From the archaic ethnocultures around the world the DR initiation was really the primal form of initiation, both into adulthood as well as into Shamanistic Chief- or Lama-form. Often that was accompanied with a lifetime of preparation, even some cultures would initiate at the age of 12 and 21.

All spiritual traditions have used Darkness Techniques in the pursuit of enlightenment. In Europe, the dark room often appeared in underground form as a network of tunnels, in Egypt as the Pyramids, in Rome as the catacombs, and by the Essenes, near the Dead Sea in Israel, as caves. In the Taoist tradition caves have been used throughout the ages for higher level practices. In the Tao, the cave, the Immortal Mountain, the Wu San, represents the perfect Inner Alchemy Chamber. Meditating and fasting in the cave is for final journey of spiritual work. The caves are the Earth Mother and it’s energy lines. Like the hollow bones, caves contain the vital essence of the Earth Power. The Tao says: “When you go into the dark and this becomes total, the Darkness soon turns into light.”

In the Darkness, our mind and soul begin to wander freely in the vast realms of psychic and spiritual experience. When you enter this primordial state of force you are reunited with the true self and divinity within. You literary ‘conduct’ the universal energy. You may see into the past and future, understanding the true meaning of existence, and begin to understand the order of things. You return to the womb, the cocoon of our material structure and Nature’s original darkness.

Complete Darkness profoundly changes the sensory sensibilities of the body/brain. We are deprived of all visual reference. Sounds begin to fall away as we loose contact with the external world and turn the senses inward. The effect of darkness is to shunt down major cortical centers in the brain, depressing mental and cognitive functions in the higher brain centers.Emotional and feeling states are enhanced, especially the sense of smell and the finer senses of psychic perception. Dreams become more lucid, and the dream state manifests in our conscious awareness of the Source, the spirit, the soul. We descend into the void, into the darkness of deep, inner space.

Darkness activates the deepest centers within the brain, the glands of the Crystal Palace establishing a connection with the Original Source, the Wu Chi. The pineal gland connects us to the Universal Energy. From the hypothalamus gland, we project our soul or spirit upwards, and receive the descending Universal Energy. The pituitary gland receives the Cosmic Force, used to launch the spirit bodies into the earthly or human plane for traveling.

The darkness actualizes successively higher states of divine consciousness, correlating with the synthesis and accumulation of psychedelic chemicals in the brain. Melatonin, a regulatory hormone, quite the body and mind in preparation for the finer and subtler realities of higher consciousness (Day 1 to 3). Pinoline, affecting the neuro-transmitters of the brain, permits visions and dream-states to emerge in our conscious awareness (Days 3 to 5). Eventually, the brain synthesizes the “spirit molecules” 5-metoxy-dimethyl-tryptami..ne (5-MeO-DMT) and dimethyltryptamine (DMT), facilitating the transcendental experience of universal love and compassion (Days 6 to 12).

Benefits of Darkness Experience

The Darkness meditations will influence each person uniquely, depending on their maturity and stage of spiritual development. The Darkness enables the body and mind to undergo a series of profound transformations. The ‘states of consciousness’ appear correlated with the organic synthesis and accumulation of psychedelic chemicals in the brain, especially melatonin (Days 1 to 3), pinoline (Days 3 to 5), 5-MeO-DMT (Days 6 to 8), and DMT (Days 9 to 12).

The pharmacology of these states is as follows.

“The light of the body is the eye; therefore when thine eye is single thy whole body is also full of light” – (Luke 11:34)

‘Melatonin Stage’ (Day 1 to 3)

Complete isolation from external light causes the pineal gland to flood the brain with the neurotransmitter melatonin (average 2 to 5 mg/day), manifesting initially as the need for sleep and rest. The eyes recuperate from the over-stimulation of the visual world, releasing the grip of mental concerns, plans, agendas, and letting the energies settle. Melatonin is essential for maintaining the hibernation state, which facilitates the emergence of spiritual consciousness. The person retains a child-like biological continuation. When this substance works together with the yellow marrowin the bone, the reddish firing reaction will activate a gentle interaction between the sacred water and the light. The sacred waters are the finer fluids that are responsible for producing bone marrow and other bodily fluids. The waters run not only in the center of the bones, but also in the spinal connections between the Crown and Perineum Points.

‘Pinoline Stage’ (Day 3 to 5)

After about three days, when melatonin concentration reaches sufficient levels (15 to 20 mg) the body then begins to produce superconductor pinoline, whereby a greater fluidity of thought and healing of body starts to occur. Pinoline induces cell replication (mitosis) and intercalates with DNA molecules. The ‘pinoline stage’ is normally activated only in womb, in lucid dreaming, or in near death experiences. Within this state we can metaprogram the brain to the Unity of Self, heightening awareness of the pathways with which we filter reality. At this stage, the nervous system becomes aware of itself. We become aware of the hologram of the external world that we create constantly in our head.
When the pinoline is triggered you activate your clairsentient and clairaudient powers. You may see light and visions, hear music, and gain phenomenal insight. A decoding of the DNA then begins to take place. Cosmic particles are attracted to us and decoded in the form of sound, light, knowledge and realization. The particles, which have the same cell structure as humans (and from which Tao believes you evolved), are attracted to you magnetically. The body has approximately six trillion cells, which correspond to the universe ‘without’. Each of these cells can be seen as a computer with unlimited power and potential. Each cell can become superconductor, able to receive information from the space. You are able to decode this universal information carried from outer space. You are able to decode this universal information carried from outer space, which may be as old as nothingness itself. When you enter this primordial state of force you are reunited with the true self and divinity within. You literally ‘conduct’ the universal energy. You may see into the past and future, understand the true meaning of existence, and begin to understand the order of things. You return to the womb, the cocoon of our material structure and Nature’s original Darkness.

‘5-MeO-DMT Stage’ (Day 6 to 8 )

At this stage the pineal gland starts to produce the neuro-hormone 5-MeO-DMT (aka ‘akashon). This psychoactive tryptamine is highly luminiscent and also extremely phosphorescent due to the amount of phosphene that it transmits onto the visual cortex. 5-MeO-DMT switches on 40% more of the cerebral cortex and awakens the nervous system to become aware of itself; ‘beingness’ results. Hence, the possibility of metaprogramming the nervous system’s bio-computer – activating healing and conflict messages assortment of the nervous system. 5-MeO-DMT is the empathogenic neurotransmitter that expands the emotional body between ‘infinity and zero’. It gives rise to telepathy in the emotional and intuitive bodies. It engages the awakening of the ‘Flower of Life’, the spine, which begins to glow in a state of beingness and peace.
5-MeO-DMT discharges the Darkness from the Darkness. A bright light is activated and one experiences a born-again mentality. This Great White Light, the manifestation of the astral body, enables the self to project externally. At this point, some degree of ‘N-Methyl-D-Aspartare Inhibition’ (NMDA-I) usually occurs. This is a ‘soft form’ of showing of the glaumate input signals into the cells. This makes it easier for the nervous system to cause electrons to stop flowing with the cells, allowing for profound meditative trance states. 5-MeO-DMT intercalates with the messenger RNA. One can see in 3-dimensional holon pictures, as the thought behind the language.
“Techniques taught in the Darkness enable one to read and go beyond the matrix, by unifying all directions, and externalizes the soul computer so that one can start to interact with one’s own genetic code of the Tree of Life. The spine is activated and reprogrammed and you can start to process the illusion of the dream from it’s binary code into the unified translated Self:

The Unity Self.
Through 14 days of total light isolation your consciousness can be expanded to the wider wave emanations and transduce the core hologram of reality that is coherently programming ones nervous system to the Unity Self.
Many exercises will be practiced during this period: compacting Chi, consciousness and awareness into the nervous system, working with the Silent Self and anchoring the Immortal Body.
The 5-MeO-DMT prepares the nervous system, through its empathetic state of being and self awareness of the nervous system, for the DMT of dimethyltryptamine production of the pineal gland, in psychoactive milligram doses.

‘DMT Stage’ (Day 9 to 12)

When DMT levels reach more than 25 mg, one experience can become very visual. DMT is the visual Third Eye neurotransmitter. It enables the energy body and spiritto journey into hyperspace, beyond third dimensional realms of time and space. It is intensly energizing. “After some 10-12 days one starts to see in infrared, and ultraviolet, ona can actually run across the room and touch a person, by seeing their heat patterns. The Holon images exteriorize and one is walking in a Virtual Reality, which appears to be the DNA language macro uploaded, and interactive.”
When you reach the ‘DMT state’ you begin to function consciously from the various psychic centers or chakras. The bodily processes of Healing Love are then combined with those of the Darkness. The human states of true compassion and sexual arousal create a new chemistry and a new vibration within the body. This ‘special’ vibration occur at the frequency of 8Hz. ‘As in macrocosm, so it is in the microcosm’; hence if we make love, then all the cells and DNA actually make love as well. The DNA crosses over, like two serpents intertwining in an erotic embrace. You need the orgasmic vibration to arouse this crossover process which leads to the “two giving birth to three”; the conceptions of new cells. The two vital states are compassion and arousal leading to orgasm. Both are inextricably linked to love. When this ‘love-vibration’ reaches the pineal gland a new hormone is produced, which in turn creates whole body conductivity. Only when you feel the waves of orgasmic vibration and unconditional love for the self and others can the process be activated and the essence of the Darkness is magnified.

At this stage of the Darkness retreat, the required amount of sleep tends to diminish dramatically. Although the day may last 24 hours, 3 hours of sleep can seem like 12. During this period we will engage in further practices; psychic games and interactivity, Taoist Dream Yoga (advanced levels) and Imagination Expansion.

Religious Mystical Ecstacy

The Christian Myth ~ Entheogenic Root of Religions

“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. . . (Matt 16: I8f.)”.

The sacred fungus was the “bolt” or “key” that gave access to heaven and to hell, a double reference to its shape as a knobbed bolt for opening doors, and to its ability to open the way to new and exciting mystical experiences. (Sacred Fungi = Amanita Muscaria)

The god had “spoken” and his creative “word” had been carried to earth by the storm-wind, angelic messenger of heaven, and been implanted directly into the volva. The baby that resulted from this divine union was thus the “Son of God”, more truly representative of its heavenly father than any other form of plant or animal life. Here, in the tiny mushroom, was God manifest, the “Jesus” born of the Virgin “the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. Knowledge and healing were two aspects of the same life-force. If to be rubbed with the “Holy Plant” was to receive divine knowledge, it was also to be cured of every sickness.

In the phallic mushroom, the “man-child” born of the “virgin” womb, we have the reality behind the Christ figure of the New Testament story. In a sense he is representative also of the initiates of the cult, “Christians”, or “smeared with semen”, as the name means. By imitating the mushroom, as well as by eating it and sucking its juice, or “blood”, the Christian was taking unto himself the panoply of his god, as the priests in the sanctuary also anointed themselves with the god’s spermatozoa found in the juices and resins of special plants and trees. As the priests “served” the god in the temple, the symbolic womb of divine creation, so the Christians and their cultic associates worshipped their god and mystically involved themselves in the creative process. In the language of the mystery cults they sought to be “born again”, when, purged afresh of past sin, they could apprehend the god in a drug induced ecstasy.

The prime example of the relation between the serpent and the mushroom is, of course, in the Garden of Eden story of the Old Testament. The cunning reptile prevails upon Eve and her husband to eat of the tree, whose fruit “made them as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen 3:4). The whole Eden story is mushroom-based mythology, not least in the identity of the “tree” as the sacred fungus, as we shall see. Even as late as the thirteenth-century some recollection of the old tradition was known among Christians, to judge from a fresco painted on the wall of a ruined church in Plaincourault in France (pl. 2). There the Amanita muscaria is gloriously portrayed, entwined with a serpent, whilst Eve stands by holding her belly.

The division of the mushroom volva into two halves gave rise to a “twin” mythology. Since the two constituents of the fungus were envisaged as male and female, it is sometimes personified as a hermaphrodite, and its names like Tubal—Cain, and the Greek Eryngion, contain both male and female elements. Alternatively, the mushroom story presents two figures, usually male, like Castor and Pollux, Cain and Abel, and so on.

The most famous of all the mythological twins are Castor and Pollux, the “volva” and the “stem” of the fungus respectively. Their joint name, Dioscouroi, means “phallus of the storm”, and appears in the New Testament as the name of Jesus’ betrayer, Iscariot, and as the title of Jesus himself, “son of God” The risen mushroom, with canopy outstretched was seen by the ancients in the same sexual terms as the open groin of a woman penetrated by the male organ, or as an axe—head into which the shaft has been inserted. It was represented symbolically by the form of a cross, as a man or animal carrying a yoke, or as a criminal crucified. So the fungus was known as “the little cross” and its dismemberment as “crucifixion”, giving in part that theme of the Christian myth. The imagery that related the mushroom and the cross extended to “star” images, as we noticed in the case of the Dioscouroi’s cap. In many respects the sacred fungus was a child of two worlds, heavenly and terrestrial, and, as the modern Arab calls the mushroom, “star of the ground”

The sacred fungus was the offspring of the Morning Star, as Jesus proclaims himself to be to the mystic. It thus had the unique ability of forming a bridge between man and god, being not entirely divine nor yet merely mortal. It gave men the power to become for a little while like the gods, “knowing good and evil”.18 Like the mushroom itself, it allowed mortals to become “Dioscouroi”, as the Greeks understood that name of the sacred fungus, “Sons of God”. As the New Testament writer says of Jesus: To all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father . . . (John I:12f.).

“serpent” in the mushroom physiology is the stem that arises from the volva to bear aloft the upper half as its expanded head, or, in phallic terms, its glans penis. Cosmographically, the mushroom stem is represented by a great mountain whose top is lost in the clouds of heaven.

Monotheism exhibits what is essentially a pathological personality pattern projected onto the ideal of God: the pattern of the paranoid, possessive, power-obsessed male ego. This God is not someone you would care to invite to a garden party!

“Christianity is the product of a governmental council acquiring and examining as many of the world’s religious doctrines they could find; in order to create a “One World Religion”. They took ideas and doctrine from Egyptology, Mithraism, Hinduism, Buddhism, the Torah of the Jews, and many others, picking the parts they wanted to include, altering them as they wished, discarding the parts they did not want included, and finally compiling their own plagiarized (and altered) writings to create the new Catholic (one from all) Bible. Since this was a plagiarized and altered conglomeration of many older works, many symbolic tenets have managed to retain their original meanings.”

“Many Christian beliefs and traditions were borrowed from more ancient religions and mythologies. This is well documented by authors such as Gerald Massey, Godfrey Higgins, Robert Graves, Kersey Graves and many others. The virgin birth, the incarnation of God, the sacrament, Christmas, Easter, etc. have all been adopted/stolen by Christianity as its own.”

“Christianity is a religion with a dubious history, yet many of the doctrines and stories are worth study. It is a religion which was created for political reasons. Constantine, The Emperor of Rome, knew one of the most basic tenets of government was the control of its people. The governmental control of people becomes much easier and effective when that government is able to also assume a “divine” authority. The Bible, as we have it today, should not be regarded as a historical document. This is not to say that it is not very interesting, but it must be read keeping in mind that it is a re-translation, of a re-translation, of a re-translation, of an initially altered plagiarism. The book itself (viewed in light of the possibility of what could have been) is a complex document that must have required some pretty intelligent minds to conceive. It is this complexity that so overwhelms those of limited intellect that it convinces many that it could only have been written by the hand (or direct inspiration) of God…”

Life and Works of Gopi Krishna

Pandit Gopi Krishna is a Spiritual Genius!  One in a long line of gurus and saints who achieved partial or full enlightenment, such as Ramakrishna, Buddha, Christ, Mohammed, Moses, Guru Nanak, Shankara, Lao Tzu and many others, some who are known to history and some not.

Gopi Krishna was born in 1903, and at the age of 34, while meditating one morning, he experienced the sudden and forceful awakening of his “Kundalini/Frontal Lobe”, which he described in full detail years later in his autobiography, Kundalini: The Evolutionary Energy in Man. From that day, till the end of his life, the energy was fully active in his body and eventually brought about a radical, permanent transformation of his perceptive faculties.

Gopi Krishnas last 25 years were devoted to bringing the attention of the world to this phenomenon. His seventeen published books, innumerable articles, discourses and speeches have presented a clear and concise account of the Kundalini process, a theory for its explanation and the role it plays in the evolution of both the individual consciousness and of the race as a whole.

Although he was not a ‘mystic’ from birth he caused his self-Transformation accidentally by stimulating the mechanism for “Nirvana Experience” inside each and every human brain, namely in the anterior part of primate brain, brahma-rendra. Sahasrara. Or? The Frontal Lobes!! Exactly.

I’ll quote Krishna;
“The ultimate aim of meditation is to arouse to activity a dormant area in the brain. It is not the pineal gland, nor the pituitary. The awakening of Kundalini does not refer to a mere glandular change or a shift in the hormonal activity of the body. It clearly involves the operation of a new power in the body and the activation of a hitherto silent area in the brain. The traditional name for this still unidentified area is Brahma-Rendra, or the Cavity of Brahma, in India. It is the target for which Yoga is practiced. It is the real goal of all spiritual and occult disciplines of mankind.”

“This is the, hitherto, undivulged secret of Kundalini: the human cerebrospinal system is capable of a new, amazing activity which is still completely unknown to science. The practice of meditation, carried on in the proper way, regularly for a sufficient duration of time, tends to force a normally silent region in the brain to an astonishing activity which, like an electric current, galvanizes the nervous system to an action which is never experienced in the normal state.”

“Looking back at the events that followed the first awakening, seems to me to be obvious now that the intensity of concentration, exercised for many years, had slowly stimulated to activity a small area in the brain directly above the palate and below the crown of the head. The exquisite sensations I felt moving up the spine, which stopped and disappeared when my mind was diverted, was the beginning of a new activity in the cerebrospinal system which will be determined by science in the course of time.”

“Kundalini represents the upgrading mechanism behind the evolution of the human brain.”

“I never understood it at that time, but the actual position was that my very first experience of the awakening was the outcome of a widening of my cognitive center in the brain. When I returned back to the normal state of my consciousness, after the expansion, which I witnessed during the period of my ecstasy, I was not the same inner being as before. The area of my awareness had widened, and this expansion had become a permanent feature of my personality.”

“The outcome was that I found myself in possession of a new power of perception which invested all the objects perceived with an ethereal light, not borrowed from the sun or any artificial source of light, but inherent in the observing consciousness itself. It was not the faculty of sight alone which underwent this change. The senses of hearing, touch, taste and smell also became more refined and sensitive. Not only this, but the intellect became more penetrating and imagination more vivid and powerful. The feeling of love for my family, friends, and the world in general, which I seemed to have lost for some time, returned with greater intensity. Slowly a new personality was shaping itself in the same body and the same brain that had housed another one before.”

“Human Brain is still in the process of evolution towards a more perfect state, in which a still superior pattern of consciousness is possible. After the awakening, Kundalini is led step by step towards sahasrara. (Sahasrara = Frontal Lobes)

Out of hundreds who succeed in arousing the power and forcing the organic essence to rise up the spine, perhaps not even one is able, even with sustained efforts, to carry it to Brahma-Rendra. This is the reason why the number of those who have achieved the genuine mystical experience has been so small. In the initial stages, it is hard to hold Kundalini at a chakra for more than a few minutes at a time. After that it slides back to its dormant position at the base of the spine, when the light in the head, the sounds in the ears and the exquisite sensation that attends its ascent, also come to a stop. But once the rapture is experienced, the seeker tries his utmost to experience it again and again in the same way as a youngster, initiated into the secrets of love, is often tempted to repeat the experience as often as possible.

All of Gopi Krishna’s unpublished writings –more than 15,000 pages– are being preserved deep beneath the Zurich Central Library in Switzerland.

Life and Works of TD Lingo

TDA Lingo. One of the Greatest Geniuses in History

The ability of persons to control their amygdala and experience limitless frontal lobes pleasure responses was proven by a 30 year controlled study by brain and behavior researcher T.D.A. Lingo at the Dormant Brain Research and Development Laboratory in Blackhawk, Colorado. Between 1957 and 1987 over three hundred and nine students and test subjects along with hundreds of additional part time participants were involved in long and short term brain education, behavioral, and thought modification programs. The resultant increases in intelligence, creativity, and positive emotions were demonstrated and measured by a variety of objective and subjective means, standardized tests and analysis methods. Lingo reports that this included 10 to 40 point increases on the Stanford-Binet I.Q. test, and 500% to 1400% increases on the Getzels-Jackson Creativity Index.

Random testimony from a Brain students of his:

I’ve been a student of consciousness expansion and spirituality for over 35 years, and have taken more than 100 workshops, trainings, and classes in consciousness development, starting at the age of 19 with T. D. Lingo. I was one of his early “experiments.” Lingo was an amazing teacher, a true hidden genius. Nutty as hell, in some ways, but certifiably brilliant in many others. [Neil Slade is not considered by any of Lingo’s students “his successor,” but rather an egoist who is using Lingo’s materials (unauthorized) to promote himself. Nothing surprising there.] Lingo did not expect to die, so his estate was a mess, and although he promised to pass his amazing school property (250 acres of prime Colorado mountain property, log cabins, pump well, wind generator-driven printing press) to one or another of his students, it ended up in the hands of his adopted drug addicted son (long abandoned), who sold it for $3M to developers.* Too bad, because Lingo lived in basic poverty, struggling to become known, although his unique and quirky writing style and manner turned almost everybody off.

I have the only (to my knowledge) complete version of his 100-lesson workbook*, which I’m trying to get the legal right to publish. He was democratic in the extreme, stressing self-therapy, brain self-control, and self-empowerment all the way. He stated clearly that he didn’t want to be a guru, but of course, at some level he wanted people to buy his point of view whole hog and work for him for free. We disagreed on that point (and many others) many times, but I studied with him for four years, and consider him to be my first TRUE teacher. He released me from the bonds of my historical programming, and freed me to explore on my own. He had a great heart, and was generous with many people, but also had a harsh and angry streak when people weren’t generous to him in kind. He lost students about as fast as he got them. He was an original — and his death was a real tragedy. I hope to write a book about him one day.

‘Clicking’ the Amygdala -Component

This phrase is coined by T.D.A. Lingo and it refers to either automatic (reactive non-deliberate) or conscious deliberate activation of amygdaloid body processes (by cortex influence).

The power to click is a simple gift from life. The clicking is a simple shunting of incoming neutral-valenced cosmic consciousness backward into old rootstern. or forward into frontal lobes, as needed; as self-chosen.

The purpose of choosing to master the skill of brain self-control is to choose each moment’s state of consciousness— state of ego; is to maximize your primary creative production— pre-conscious production— of work for mankind and humankind; is to help perfect planet Earth via educating child to whole brain harmony; is to understand and flow with cosmic unity.

Neil Slade often claims to be acting in behalf of the Lingo estate. In all fairness, we should look at then entire chain of events that transpired upon Lingo’s death. To begin with Neil Slade was one of the first individuals to find out about the death of TD. Upon hearing of Lingo’s death, Neal took it upon himself to go to the property of Lingo and take at least 2 known items…a 1940’s Martin guitar, and a preserved brain. A 1940’s Gibson banjo was also taken, and is in the possession of one Harmony Asning Stang. It took the Lingo’s family members several days to arrive from San Francisco, and other individual arrived on the property the weekend following Lingo’s estate.

One individual who was familiar with the property inventory found that almost everything of value had gone missing. This included, but was not limited to: 3 chain saws, WWII medals and uniforms that were TD’s, a Nazi flag and luger, a Winchester 30-06, numerous tools, post hole digger, etc. The whereabouts of these items are still unknown. If Slade states that he is acting in behalf of the Lingo Estate, then he should be able to produce legal documents stating such. To date none of these documents have ever been presented, most likely because they do not exist. Consequently, it would be safe to say that Slade does not represent the Estate of Lingo. The family of Lingo had a very negative perception of Slade. The accused Slade of: 1) supplying TD with copious amounts of Vodka, which one family member  swears lead to the death of Lingo. It should be noted that Lingo had a congenital heart disease and no correlation between Lingo’s vodka consumption and deal was ever made. 2) the family was steep in religion, and was deeply offended when they found statements in Lingo’s journal that Slade had provided Lingo with very young women, women that Lingo had sex with. Given these 2 perceptions of Slade by the family, then it seems highly unlikely that they would put Slade in charge of any intellectual or real property of TD Lingo. All that Neal Slade needs to do to clear this matter is present the legal documentation.

T.D.Lingo nature

One only has to go to the Slade website to see that Slade has assumed the duty of being Lingo’s protégée. Slade likes to post letters that Lingo wrote him. Letters where Lingo showers Slade with praise and all kinds of accolades. Slade also states that Lingo wanted him to “inherit” all of Lingo’s real property. This, according to Slade, was made in front of several witnesses. But, unfortunately is inadmissible in court.  To add credibility to his own self-worth, Slade likes to belittle others. This belittling includes posting posting for public perusal personal letters between Lingo and other individuals. Besides being unethical, one has to question why a “successful” person like Slade would resort to such tactics? Does it matter to Slade’s work what Lingo said about someone 20-30 years ago? Heck, I had a girlfriend in 1985. So what? It is time to move on, but for some reason Slade feels that he must air his dirty laundry in public. Any program that is valid, will stand on its own merits and the capitalist marketplace will ultimately determine the acceptance of such. But the real question to be addressed is: “Does Slade properly represent the work of TD Lingo?”

It is true that Lingo talked of amygdala clicking, and multiple orgasms. Slade has adopted the amygdala gimmick and added a splash of cloud bursting, but this is not representative of Lingo’s work. The 2 major components of Lingo’s work were: 1) Primal Nature, and 2) Self-Therapy. Lingo based his Primal Nature component upon the works of the American Transcendentalist movement, represented by the like of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Walt Whitman, Henry David Thoreau, etc. Lingo also often used the Thoreau phrase: “”In Wildness Is the Preservation of the World.” Nature was the natural healing agent that the modern brain needed to clear it of cultural entropy. No where in Slades writing will you read anything about primal nature, or the role it plays in healing the brain from past traumas. In fact, Slade avoids what was ultimately the core of Lingo’s work…Self-Therapy. according to Lingo, only by identify past traumas, dealing with them via “Self Trauma Drama, rewriting the “scene”, and then forgiving could one attain self-realization. Does Slade teach Self-Therapy in his body of work. To date there has been no proof of such. 3) The last component that TD felt was imperative to self-realization, and to physical/intellectual/emotional/spiritual maturity was the “community service” component. According to Lingo, only when one was willing to give/work for others in a non-egotistically manner could he/she truly mature. Lingo taught that community service should not be seen as a means to an end, but as an end in itself. Lingo always judged the validity of any program by the emphasis they put on true community service, and the willingness of the leaders of any group to persuade/lead others into performing community service. How does Slade’s program address community service.

Ultimately, if Slade’s program is truly a representation of Lingo’s work then it should have: a primal nature component, it should teach self-therapy, and it should emphasize community service. To just grab a marketing gimmick like “amydala clicking” or “multiple orgasms” and run with it, is to avoid the ultimate goal of TD Lingo. That goal was to help the individual attain full emotional maturation in order to save planet earth. You mature by doing your therapy within primal nature, and you help save the planet by helping others and working for the good of others and the planet. Words are just words, but the actions of any man or woman can tell us all that we need to know to determine if the individual is truly sincere in helping the planet survive…and this is what Lingo wanted.

Stages, Shadow and Nirvana

“States are Free stages are Earned” ~ Ken Wilber

There aren’t just states of consciousness, like being in a state of now awareness, but there are stages of consciousness. There are structures of consciousness and these develop. States of consciousness generally don’t develop, although if they are trained they can, but states of consciousness are things like waking, dreaming, deep-formless sleep, not ever present now awareness and those states of consciousness tend to come and go.

Structures of consciousness, on the other hand, tend to develop. They develop in stages and one of the first Westerners to point this out and discover this was Jean Gebser and he called these stages, which are stages that actually humanity have gone through and stages that individuals go through, even to this day. Everybody born today goes through these stages and they are archaic, magic, mythic, rational, pluralistic and integral.

“A Wise Man looks into space and knows there in no limited dimensions” ~ Lao Tzu

The entire western developmental psychology is indeed some sort of the entire panoply of the world’s mystical traditions and we find that in the East and we find it in the West, we find it of course in Zen and Vedanta and Taoism and in the West we find it in Sufism and Neoplatonism and Kabbalah and certain forms of centering, prayer and Christianity and all of these are designed to take awareness beyond it’s ordinary, conventional, egoic orientation and open it to a radically vast, open, infinite super-conscious domain. And by whatever name this super-conscious domain is called, whether it is called Brahman or Allah or Vishnu or Shina or Dharmakaya, that is a person’s true and fundamental and ultimate sort of identity and for the world’s great mystical traditions.

The discovery of this Timeless now awareness is the ultimate goal and aim of life and it is the aim of spirituality itself, of course.

So what you start doing when you start paying attention to the now is that you realize fairly immediately that when you’re resting in the now, when you’re really just giving pure awareness to the pure present, most of life’s difficulties seem to evaporate. It’s really true that you are free of the past and free of the future and open to this pure present and the pure present seems to have no boundaries and is wide open and is free of most anxiety and free of most depression and clearly that’s a place where one would like to live and certainly the mystics agree. But as you start doing that as a practice, you will notice that okay, “I’m aware of the now moment, I’m aware of the now moment, I’m aware of the now moment” and then at some point, you’ll realize you are not. At some point you have lost track. At some point you got caught in thoughts of yesterday or thoughts of tomorrow or some distraction. Shadow?

And and the shadow is any unconscious or dissociated material from one’s self that you have pushed out of awareness, tried to deny, tried to project or dissociate and it could be feelings of anger, could be feelings of jealousy, could be feelings of sexuality, it could be power drives. At some point in the past, these became uncomfortable feelings and so, you know, in a typical sort of Freudian way, we push these out of awareness and we tend to project them onto other people. “Oh, I’m not angry, but that person over there is angry,” or tend to displace them, tend to have these feelings show up in disguised, morbid, uncomfortable forms and so what happens is you’re paying attention to the now and you’re paying attention to the now and you’re paying attention to the now and all of a sudden you’re not, and one of the reasons you’re not is that you are caught in shadow material.

Enjoy – A *Taste* from these Higher Stages of human development, In-joy;

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi: “Perfect mental and physical health is natural in this state of fulfillment of life where divine intelligence speaks in all phases, where God-consciousness permeates all daily experiences and activities, where universal love flows in and overflows from the heart and where divine intelligence fills the mind.” (page 250, The Science of Being and Art of Living)

Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj: “As long as you imagine yourself to be something tangible and solid, a thing among things, actually existing in time and space, shortlived and vulnerable, naturally you will be anxious to survive and increase. But when you know yourself as beyond space and time—in contact with them only at the point of here and now, otherwise all-pervading and all-containing, unapproachable, unassailable, invulnerable—you will be afraid no longer.” (page 485, I am That)

H.W.L. Poonja: “When you are yourself, there is no fear and you are aloneness. You never touch anything else. Time doesn’t touch, mind doesn’t touch, fear doesn’t touch. You are beyond all that. … Duality is only in dreaming. When you wake up, nothing else existed. That is total freedom.” (page133, Wake Up And Roar)

Lao Tsu: “The Sage has no interests of his own, but takes the interests of the people as his own. He is kind to the kind; he is also kind to the unkind; For Virtue is kind. He is faithful to the unfaithful: for Virtue is faithful. In the midst of the world, the Sage is shy and self-effacing. For the sake of the world he keeps his heart in its nebulous state. All the people strain their ears and eyes; the Sage only smiles like an amused infant.” (chapter 49, Tao Te Ching)

Paramahansa Yogananda: “When the divine joy comes, immediately my breath is still and I am lifted into the Spirit. I feel the bliss of a thousand sleeps rolled into one, and yet I don’t lose my ordinary awareness. This is universally the experience of those who go deep in the superconscious state. When the profound ecstasy of God falls over you, the body becomes absolutely still, the breath ceases to flow, and the thoughts are quiet—banished, every one, by the magic command of the soul. The you drink of God’s bliss and experience an intoxication of joy that not a thousand draughts of wine could give you.” (page 161, Man’s Eternal Quest)

A Course in Miracles: “The outcome of the lesson that God’s Son is guiltless is a world in which there is no fear, and everything is lit with hope and sparkles with a gentle friendliness. Nothing but calls to you in soft appeal to be your friend, and let it join with you.” (page 647)

And Where is this ‘Oneness/Transcendence/Nirvana Computed?

Brain and behavior researcher Lingo spent a great deal of time investigating (unconventionally) and his ‘hypothesis’ is that the locus of these mystic, peak-experiences are, our, frontal-lobes. (This is still not mainstream science) – Keeping in mind that the states are “free” but the stages are earned! Means; you can have PEAK mystic experience or experiences but still NOT grow or ‘quantum leaped’ a stage UP! – That’s the deal. Transcendence doesn’t necessarily means stage UP. More on TD in next post. Thank you and Have fun.

Mystics, Sages, Saints and Gurus

The Psychophysiological Principle states:

Any experience that you have, you have only while you are having a specific brain wave pattern. If your brain wave patterns change then your experience will change.

Dr. Jeffrey D. Thompson, D.C., B.F.A did a preliminary study in these “Ecstatic” States of Consciousness, Epsilon, Gamma, HyperGamma, Lambda Brainwave Activity, following the previous premises this might be of interest:

Brain mapping research studies into different brainwave patterns associated with different states of consciousness has been carried out in major centers throughout the country. The normal range of brainwave frequency activity in the cortex neurons has traditionally been from 0.5 Hz Delta to 30.0 Hz Beta. Most of the early brainwave research was concerned with sleep studies. From these studies, it became accepted brainwave nomenclature to associate Beta activity with externally directed linear thinking mental activity, Alpha activity with internally directed non-linear mental activity, Theta with dreaming sleep, emotional elements and experiences and Delta with the deepest and most physically restorative portion of sleep.

In non-sleeping states, these brainwave patterns are associated with various states of “waking” consciousness. High levels of Beta are associated with high levels of focus and concentration, Alpha is associated with inner mental “pondering,” Theta with original, creative inspiration, problem solving, visualization and Delta with deep physical relaxation.
In meditation studies, Alpha brain states are associated with a typical “Zen” meditation, in which the attention is in a state of “open focus.” In this state, one’s attention is directed to everything simultaneously. Theta brain states are associated with out of body or astral forms of mediation. In these states, one usually experiences seeing the guru, experiencing places of beauty or peace, and sometimes receiving great spiritual insights with associated visions and sounds. These Theta states are also associated with the classic Shamanic “journeying” experiences. Delta mediation states are associated with being in the void or “white light” states. These states are timeless, formless and linked to states of suspended animation. Deep-level Yogic adepts can slow respiration and heart beat to be virtually undetectable.

Studies here at the Center for Neuroacoustic Research have shown clear and repeated evidence, in patients, of brainwave frequency patterns below the traditionally accepted lowest Delta rhythms of 0.5 Hz. This would be brainwave activity as slow as one quarter cycle per second, one frequency per 10 seconds, per one minute, or even longer. Indications of ultra-slow frequencies are evident on the EEG traces of certain patients experiencing extraordinary states of consciousness. These states seem to be associated with very high states of meditation, ecstatic states of consciousness, high-level inspiration states, spiritual insight and out-of-body experiences. Some of the higher Yogic states of suspended animation associated with deepest Delta brain states actually continue deeper into these below-Delta brainwave states, which we are calling the Epsilon State (Epsilon, since it is the next Greek letter of the alphabet after Delta).
In order to explore these deeper extraordinary states of consciousness associated with Epsilon brainwave patterns, we have had to use traditional EEG equipment in unique ways and to initiate the design of specialized EEG equipment to measure frequencies this slow. Most regular EEG equipment is not set up to measure frequencies below 0.5 Hz.
We have also noticed that whenever there are extraordinary meditation states present, brainwave electrical activity between the right/left hemispheres tends to synchronize. This synchronization of the cerebral hemispheres seems to only happen in special circumstances of consciousness – the “aha” state, the moment when the answer to a problem occurs, creative inspiration, great insight and moments of awareness of one’s own existence.

There have also been reports in the EEG literature from other researchers, that there is evidence of extraordinary states of consciousness associated with higher-than-Beta brainwave activity. These brainwave patterns go from 40 Hz and above – in some cases, as high as 100 Hz or more. The 40 Hz higher-than-Beta activity is now an accepted brainwave state in EEG nomenclature being referred to as “Gamma” brainwaves. We are calling brainwave frequency patterns significantly higher than 40 Hz “Hyper-Gamma” brainwave states. More recently, there have been reports by EEG researchers of ecstatic states of consciousness associated with brainwave frequencies of 200 Hz, we are calling these frequencies “Lambda” brainwave states.

Early evidence of the 40 Hz EEG brain activity from the Neuroscience Unit at the University of Birmingham has shown these frequencies to be associated with higher levels of brain organization “binding” information from all the senses together for a higher-level awareness of unity of the objects of our perception. Gamma rhythms also seem to be associated exclusively with higher mental activity, including perception and consciousness. – since Gamma activity disappears with general anesthesia. There is also evidence that Gamma frequencies appearing in different areas of the cortex synchronize themselves together in a more holographic manner during these extraordinary states of consciousness associated with “Shamanic” and “Mystical” experience.

The states of consciousness that appear to be associated with HyperGamma brainwave activity (at 100 Hz) and Lambda brainwave activity (at 200 Hz) seem to be described in exactly the same terms as we have been describing our discovery of Epsilon (below 0.5 Hz) over the years. It has seemed extraordinary that different groups of EEG researchers, independent of one another, should find the same states of consciousness associated with such divergent brainwave activity – below 0.5 Hz Delta to above 100 Hz HyperGamma to 200 Hz Lambda.

There seems to be a circular link between these two extremes of brainwave activity and the states of consciousness which they represent. They appear to be associated with the type of extraordinary states of consciousness we find in the highest states of meditation, deepest levels of insight, personal original creative problem solving and high degrees of Self-awareness. We have surmised that these extremely slow Epsilon brainwave patterns might have extremely fast HyperGamma/Lambda brainwave patterns modulating within them – just as the Hyper-Gamma/Lambda brainwave patterns are “riding” on a super slow Epsilon modulation.

Zen Master Dennis Genpo Merzel Roshi.

“The Big Mind process will deliver a profound experience of your highest self and biggest heart, and deliver the greatest insights of both the East and the West by integrating Zen and Western psychology.

Once you’ve walked through the Big Mind process, the door to the transcendent is open, and practice will let you deepen that recognition.”

This is truly valuable. It is self-psychology and spiritual expansion with immediate results.

Brain and Behavior Researcher T.D.A. Lingo, Ph.B., B.Sci. M.A.

TD Lingo started in 1957 researching these ‘mystic states’ and he came up with a method he called Brain Self-Control and fruit of his work culminated in a Pragmatic Growth Curriculum Self-Transcendence Workbook. Lingo wrote many permutations of the book but revisions stopped when he left our world. There is version 1.0 and 1.1  – None of these is ‘bullet proof’ that will guarantee your transcendence but hey give it a try perhaps?

Version what I like to call 1.0 is FREE! Download it by “clicking me”.

— View or download this ‘Beautifully Photographed Historical Narrative of a Great Genius’ : Life and Works of T.D.A Lingo

Lingo talked of “amygdala clicking”, and “multiple orgasms” but this is not representative of Lingo’s work. The 3 major components of Lingo’s work were:

1) Primal Nature, 2) Self-Therapy.

According to Lingo, only by identify past traumas, dealing with them via “Self Trauma Drama, rewriting the “scene”, and then forgiving could one attain self-realization.

Lingo’s major goal was to help the individual attain full emotional maturation in order to save planet earth. You mature by doing your therapy within primal nature, and you help save the planet by helping others and working for the good of others and the planet and that is what Lingo wanted.

Pandit Gopi Krishna

Born (1903–1984) of India was a yogi, mystic, teacher, social reformer, and writer. His autobiography is known under the title Kundalini: The Evolutionary Energy in Man.

After having been engaged in Meditation for many years, he had his first Kundalini experience at the age of 34, which he describes thus in his autobiography.

“Suddenly, with a roar like that of a waterfall, I felt a stream of liquid light entering my brain through the spinal cord. Entirely unprepared for such a development, I was completely taken by surprise; but regaining my self-control, keeping my mind on the point of concentration. The illumination grew brighter and brighter, the roaring louder, I experienced a rocking sensation and then felt myself slipping out of my body, entirely enveloped in a halo of light. It is impossible to describe the experience accurately. I felt the point of consciousness that was myself growing wider surrounded by waves of light. It grew wider and wider, spreading outward while the body, normally the immediate object of its perception, appeared to have receded into the distance until I became entirely unconscious of it. I was now all consciousness without any outline, without any idea of corporeal appendage, without any feeling or sensation coming from the senses, immersed in a sea of light simultaneously conscious and aware at every point, spread out, as it were, in all directions without any barrier or material obstruction. I was no longer myself, or to be more accurate, no longer as I knew myself to be, a small point of awareness confined to a body, but instead was a vast circle of consciousness in which the body was but a point, bathed in light and in a state of exultation and happiness impossible to describe.”

(Photo: This reading was Taken by dr.Jim Hardt from Biocybernaut Institute. This EEG shows Kundalini brainwave activity of Bill’s Brain the Director of Centerpointe Research Institute. 🙂 – A Waking Mystic/Shamanic Delta?)

According to June McDaniel, his writings have influenced Western interest in kundalini yoga. He wrote many books and traveled all over the world giving lectures. He came to feel the kundalini experience underlies all (or most) religions that started with a personal revelation. He could see kundalini iconography in cultures worldwide, from ancient Egypt to Quetzalcoatl to the caduceus of Mercury, and believed there was a common basis, and that he had been granted entry to this vision. Gopi Krishna theorized that the brain was in a state of organic evolution, and that the rising of Kundalini into the brain would open a normally silent chamber called brahma-randra in the yogic tradition. Krishna worked tirelessly to promote the scientific investigation of kundalini in the human frame, hypothesizing that this energy was leading humankind towards the goal of Higher Consciousness.

    Paramahansa Yogananda

(January 5, 1893–March 7, 1952), born Mukunda Lal Ghosh (Bengali: মুকুন্দ লাল ঘোষ Mukundo Lal Ghosh), was an Indian yogi and guru who introduced many westerners to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga through his book, Autobiography of a Yogi.

Yogananda taught his students the need for direct experience of truth, as opposed to blind belief. He said that “The true basis of religion is not belief, but intuitive experience. Intuition is the soul’s power of knowing God. To know what religion is really all about, one must know God.”

Echoing traditional Hindu teachings, he taught that the entire universe is God’s cosmic motion picture, and that individuals are merely actors in the divine play who change roles through reincarnation. He taught that mankind’s deep suffering is rooted in identifying too closely with one’s current role, rather than with the movie’s director, or God.

    He taught Kriya Yoga and other meditation practices to help people achieve that understanding, which he called Self Realization. In his book he explains;

“The Kriya Yogi mentally directs his life energy to revolve, upward and downward, around the six spinal centers (medullary, cervical, dorsal, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal plexuses) which correspond to the twelve astral signs of the zodiac, the symbolic Cosmic Man. One-half minute of revolution of energy around the sensitive spinal cord of man effects subtle progress in his evolution; that half-minute of Kriya equals one year of natural spiritual unfoldment”

Swami Rama is an mystic from India who spend early part of his life in himalayas. one of the most famous book of swami rama is “living with himalayan masters”.

Here are some selected quotes of swami rama of himalayas:

Guru is the disciple’s guide through life, through the mysterious terrain of the spiritual heart, and into and beyond the realm of death. Happiness is within and the source is the center of consciousness, love, and wisdom.

Modern man is too impatient and wants to master the art of meditation immediately.

What is good and what is right, thinking makes it so. Surrender the mind for a while to God consciousness, and you will find peace.
One who dwells in the domain of the Atman does not belong to a particular family, society, or nation. Rather, he is part of all of humanity. He loves the welfare of all, as much as he loves his own Atman.

Truth is that Divine Force that dwells in every individual’s heart. It is the all-pervading, eternal Reality, uniting all individuals, and finally, linking all of existence in one divine awareness. That Divine Force is called God.
If your dearest one stands in the way of Self-realization, tread over him, forsake him, go beyond. If your beloved stands in the way of Self-realization, cast her aside. Your trusted friend is Truth and Truth alone.

Belief in God, and experiencing the presence of God at every moment, are two different things. Before the actual direct experience of the Truth, one may believe in the existence of God, but that belief remains imperfect.
If you learn to go beyond the jabbering of your mind, and can go to the deeper aspects of your consciousness, then body, breath, and mind will not come in your way.

The simple method to enlightenment is to first know yourself. Learn to work with yourself; don’t give up in that. Give up on anything else, but don’t give up that goal. Remind yourself, “I will continue to work with myself. I can do it, I will do it, and I must do it.” Remember these three sentences: “I can do it. I will do it, and I must do it.”

The spiritual seeker should not worry about who the guru is, or what the guru will do. The seeker’s first concern is getting prepared, organizing his or her life and thoughts in a spiritually healthy way, and then working toward a way of life that simplifies and purifies. At the right time the master will be there.

Meditation is a very powerful thing that gives helpful vibrations to all. When you meditate, it definitely affects your children. If you record the brain waves of a child who is sleeping while you are meditating, you will find a difference. Even your plants and your pets are affected when you meditate. Instead of imposing your ego or your emotional problems on your children in the name of discipline, please discipline yourself, and then your children will also learn.

Ananandamayi Ma

It is the craze for wealth that binds people. To be in bondage means to destroy yourself.

My consciousness has never associated itself with this temporary body. Before I came on this earth ‘I was the same’. As a little girl ‘I was the same’. ………. Ever afterward, though the dance of creation change around me, in the hall of eternity ‘I shall be the same’.

He alone knows to whom He will reveal Himself under which form. By what path and in what manner He attracts any particular man to Himself with great force is incomprehensible to the human intellect. The Path differs indeed for different pilgrims.

Enquire: ‘Who am I?’ and you will find the answer. Look at a tree: from one seed arises a huge tree; from it comes numerous seeds, each one of which in its turn grows into a tree. No two fruits are alike. Yet it is one life that throbs in every particle of the tree. So, it is the same Atman (soul) everywhere.

Grace is all the time showering like the rain; one should do a little bit of spiritual practice just in order that one is able to grasp it. The little bit of power you have – employ that! Read the sacred texts, take his name, do chanting – as much as you have power to do, go on doing. After that, He is there to do all that is to be done. The stomach does not get filled if the morsel of food is only put into the mouth.

If you just place yourself under the protection of a Guru, then the path which is most suitable for you will by itself open up to you.

Always bear this in mind: Everything is in God’s hands, and you are His tool to be used by Him as He pleases. Try to grasp the significance of ‘all is His’. and you will immediately feel free from all burdens. What will be the result of your surrender to Him? None will seem alien, all will be your very own Self.

Verily, this body is also an utensil for puja (worship); do remember that this is an utensil for puja, and do try to utilize it only for the purpose of puja, and only then will you see that even the inside is becoming clean.

The individual suffers because he perceives duality. Find the One everywhere and in everything and there will be an end to pain and suffering.

Joys and sorrows are time-born and cannot last. Therefore, do not be perturbed by these. The greater the difficulties and obstructions, the more intense will be your endeavour to cling to His feet and the more will your prayer increase from within. And when the time is ripe, you will gain mastery over this power.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see god.
Blessed is the man who has suffered; he has found life.
The kingdom is within you and it is without you.
Cleave a piece of wood and i am there;

and you will know that you are the sons of the living father.
But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty and you are poverty.
He (Jesus Christ) sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them,

and what the hand has not touched, and what has not arisen in the heart of man.
Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you shall find the Kingdom;
and because you come from it you shall go there again.
If they ask you, ’what is the sign of your father in you?’
say to them, ’it is a movement and a rest.’
If they say to you, ’from where have you originated?’
say to them, ’We have come from the light, where the light originated through itself.’
Whoever is near to me is near to the fire,
and whoever is far From me is far from the kingdom.
Whoever drinks from my mouth shall become as i am
and i myself will become he, and the hidden things shall be revealed to him.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But i say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you,
and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

and it is impossible for a servant to serve two masters, otherwise he will honor the one and offend the other.
Jesus said: the mote that is in thy brother’s eye thou seest,
but the beam that is in thine eye thou seest not.
Jesus said: When thou castest the beam out of thine eye,
then thou wilt see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
Jesus saw children who were being suckled. He said to his disciples: these
Children who are being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom.
They said to him: shall we then, being children, enter the kingdom?
Jesus said to them: when you make the two one,
and when you make the inner as the outer
and the outer as the inner, and the above as the below, and
When you make the male and the female into a single one,
so that the male 2ill not be male and the female not be female,
then shall you enter the kingdom.

Lao Tzu – Chinese Philosopher

The specific date of birth of Lao Tzu is unknown. Legends vary, but scholars place his birth between 600 and 300 B.C.E. Lao Tzu is attributed with the writing of the “Tao-Te Ching,” (tao—meaning the way of all life, te—meaning the fit use of life by men, and ching—meaning text or classic). Lao Tzu was not his real name, but an honorific given the sage, meaning “Old Master.”

If you are rooted in reality there will be no fear.
Whatever is your highest, you just contemplate upon that. Your inner and outer purity will happen naturally.
A devotee has no other goal except to dissolve into his object of devotion. But you have your own personal agenda and still you call yourself a devotee.
When you wanting to know some thing is so Intense that you are willing to die for it, then knowing is not far away.
Without working on human consciousness, trying to change social or national or global realities means there is no serious intention.
In reality there is only Now. If you know how to handle this moment you know how to handle the whole eternity.
The guru is someone who continuously punctures your ego, yet is your friend.
If you are not half hearted, if you are a full blooded involvement with everything that you are doing you will see every simple thing is a miracle.
People have come to the conclusion that body means pain. And yet, just the right food, practices and a little change in attitude, and this body becomes a miracle.
Man needs entertainment simply to hide his madness. If he was perfectly sane, he would not need entertainment. He could just sit and watch this bamboo grow. He does not really need entertainment.
Positive thinking is about trying to escape reality. It’s about wanting to look at one side of life, and missing out on another. You may ignore the other, but the other will not ignore you. Right now, you can choose to ignore a black cloud in the sky, but it’s not going to ignore you.
The world is trying to do so many things. We’re trying to go to the moon, to Mars, but, fundamentally, I feel the most important thing is human consciousness, the quality of life here. How happy we are here simply depends on how we are within ourselves.

Sri Ramana Maharshi (Tamil: ரமண மஹரிஷி) (December 30, 1879 – April 14, 1950),

After supposedly having attained liberation at the age of 16, he left home for Arunachala, a mountain considered sacred by Hindus, at Tiruvannamalai, and lived there for the rest of his life. Sri Ramana maintained that the purest form of his teachings was the powerful silence which radiated from his presence and quieted the minds of those attuned to it. He gave verbal teachings only for the benefit of those who could not understand his silence (or, perhaps, could not understand how to attain the silent state). His verbal teachings were said to flow from his direct experience of Atman as the only existing reality. When asked for advice, he recommended self-enquiry as the fastest path to moksha. Though his primary teaching is associated with Non-dualism, Advaita Vedanta, and Jnana yoga, he recommended Bhakti to those he saw were fit for it, and gave his approval to a variety of paths and practices.

Some quotes:

Peace is your natural state. It is the mind that obstructs the natural state.
The ego’s phenomenal existence is transcended when you dive into the source from where the `I’-thought rises.

When you give up thinking of outward objects and prevent your mind from going outwards by turning it inwards and fixing it in the Self, the Self alone remains.

The world is not external. Because you identify yourself wrongly with the body you see the world outside, and its pain becomes apparent to you. But they are not real. Seek the reality and get rid of this unreal feeling.

The idea of time is only in your mind. It is not in the Self. There is no time for the Self. Time arises as an idea after the ego arises. But you are the Self beyond time and space. You exist even in the absence of time and space.

The more you get fixed in the Self the more other thoughts will drop off of themselves. The mind is nothing but a bundle of thoughts, and the `I’-thought is the root of all of them. When you see who this `I’ is and find out where it comes from all thoughts get merged in the Self.

The quality of food influences the mind. The mind feeds on the food consumed.

We imagine that we will realize that Self some time, whereas we are never anything but the Self.

In the proximity of a great master, the vasanas (Desires) cease to be active, the mind becomes still and samadhi results. Thus the disciple gains true knowledge and right experience in the presence of the master. To remain unshaken in it further efforts are necessary. Eventually the disciple will know it to be his real being and will thus be liberated even while alive.

All other knowledge are only petty and trivial knowledge; the experience of silence alone is the real and perfect knowledge.

After the rise of the `I’-thought there is the false identification of the `I’ (Self) with the body, the senses, the mind, etc. `I’ is wrongly associated with them and the true `I’ is lost sight of.

Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj (birth name: Maruti Shivrampant Kambli) (April 17, 1897 – September 8, 1981) was an Indian spiritual teacher and philosopher of Advaita (Nondualism), and a Guru, belonging to the Inchgiri branch of the Navnath Sampradaya.

One of the 20th century’s exponents of the school of Advaita Vedanta philosophy (nondualism), Sri Nisargadatta, with his direct and minimalistic explanation of non-dualism, is considered the most famous teacher of Advaita since Ramana Maharshi.

“We are the creators and creatures of each other,
causing and bearing each other’s burden.”

I find that somehow, by shifting the focus of attention, I become the very
thing I look at, and experience the kind of consciousness it has; I become
the inner witness of the thing. I call this capacity of entering other
focal points of consciousness, love; you may give it any name you like.
Love says “I am everything”. Wisdom says “I am nothing”. Between the two,
my life flows. Since at any point of time and space I can be both the
subject and the object of experience, I express it by saying that I am
both, and neither, and beyond both. (269)

Unless you make tremendous efforts, you will not be convinced that
effort will take you nowhere. The self is so self-confident that
unless it is totally discouraged it will not give up. Mere verbal
conviction is not enough. Hard facts alone can show the absolute
nothingness of the self-image. (523)

A quiet mind is all you need. All else will happen rightly, once your
mind is quiet. As the sun on rising makes the world active, so does
self-awareness affect changes in the mind. In the light of calm and
steady self-awareness, inner energies wake up and work miracles
without any effort on your part. (311)

“The world is like a sheet of paper on which something is typed. The
reading and the meaning will vary with the reader, but the paper is
the common factor, always present, rarely perceived. When the ribbon
is removed, typing leaves no trace on the paper. So is my mind – the
impressions keep on coming, but no trace is left.”(225)

When you demand nothing of the world, nor of God, when you want nothing,
seek nothing, expect nothing, then the Supreme State will come to you
uninvited and unexpected. (195)

“All that a guru can tell you is:
‘My dear Sir, you are quite mistaken aboutyourself.
You are not the person you take yourself to be.'” (443)

“There is no such thing as a person.
There are only restrictions and limitations.
The sum total of these defines the person. (…)
The person merely appears to be, like
the space within the pot appears to have the shape and volume
and smell of the pot.”

By all means attend to your duties. Action, in which you are not
emotionally involved and which is beneficial and does not cause
suffering will not bind you. You may be engaged in several directions
and work with enormous zest, yet remain inwardly free and quiet, with
a mirror like mind, which reflects all, without being affected. (50)

“To expound and propogate concepts is simple,
to drop all concepts is difficult and rare”

“There is nothing to practise. To know yourself, be yourself. To be
yourself, stop imagining yourself to be this or that. Just be. Let
your true nature emerge. Don’t disturb your mind with seeking”

I am That PG 259 (Chetana version)

The consciousness in you and the consciousness in me, apparently two, really
one, seek unity and that is love. (70)

In people with devotion,
even with limited intellect,
the intellect is not making mischief,
as it is here.

This is the place where the intellect gets annihilated.

Consciousness and the Absolute, chapter 32

There was a house, and in the house there was a person; now the
person is gone and the house is demolished. The sum total is,
whatever experiences you have, whether for a day or for years, it is
all illusion. The experiences begin with knowingness.
What is the most ingrained habit you have? It is to say “I Am’. This
is the root habit. Words and experiences are unworthy of you. This
habit of experiencing will not go until you realize that all this
domain of the five elements, are unreal, This “I Amness” is itself unreal.

Consciousness and the Absolute, pg. 48
Nisargadatta Discussion group

M: Start with the body. From the body you get the knowledge of `I
am’. In this process you become more and more subtle. When you are in
a position to witness the knowledge `I am’, you have reach the
highest. In this way you must try to understand, and the seeds of
knowledge will sprout in you.

When you come to the end of material world-knowledge, at that stage
you transcend the observer and the observed. That means that you are
in a true state of being-ness. Thereafter, you enter the state of
transcending being-ness, where the identities of the observer and
observed disappear.

Suppose somebody abuses you and you find out who it is. Is it the
body? It is not the body. Then what could it be? Finally you come to
the conclusion that it is spontaneously happening out of whatever
that body is. You will not attribute it to any individual. When your
individuality is dissolved, you will not see individuals anywhere, it
is just a functioning in consciousness. If it clicks in you, it is
very easy to understand. If it does not, it is most difficult. It is
very profound and very simple, if understood right. What I am saying
is not the general run of common spiritual knowledge.

When you reach a state when body is transcended, mind is transcended
and consciousness is also transcended; from then on all is merely
happening out of consciousness, which is the outcome of the body, and
there is no authority or doer-ship. When a sound is emanating out of
a body, it is not that somebody is talking, it is just words
emanating, just happening, not doing.

If you understand the basis thoroughly,
it will lead you very far, deep into spirituality.

The Absolute alone prevails. There is nothing but the Absolute. The
un-manifest manifested itself, that manifest state is Guru and it is universal.

Who is the one who recognizes this body-mind? This `I Am-ness’ which
recognizes the body-mind is without name and form, it is already there.

Consciousness and the Absolute

June 30,1981

Maharaj: All knowledge is like the son of a barren woman.
Presently there are only beingness and functioning.
The individuality and personality are thrown overboard.
There is no personality, so there is no question of birth, life, or death.
What remains is only the consciousness without name or form.
The form needs a name, but when both are not there,
then the consciousness remains only for so long as the body is there,
but without any individuality.
The body is of as much use now as it was prior to birth and after death.
How do you know me?
You know me only the acquisition of body form, name and form.
Do you really see me as I am? I doubt it.
Now the conclusion is that the unborn is enjoying the birth-principle.
That principle that is born took so much time to understand this,
and is it is the unborn only which prevails.
It took so much time for the Self to understand the Self.
We have tied around our necks so many concepts; death, this “I AM”,etc.
Similarly, Concepts, of good and evil are unnecessary.
We have developed these concepts and are caught in them.
How does one think about Self-knowledge?
Do you abide in the Self or in the process do you think of something else as the Self?
You are wrapped up and lost in your concepts.
For instance, you have a concept about friendship.
How long do you keep your friends? You keep them so long as they are useful to you.
So long as a friend is of some benefit to you,
that’s how long you would like to keep that friendship.
Now, how can I actually derive benefit out of a friend?
I, as an individual, am not there, so how can there be a question of benefit?
Benefit to whom? How can there be a question of friendship at all.
Anybody, who comes here can sit. I will allow him to sit for some time,
but later on I will say, “You may leave,” Why?
Because I have no intention or purpose of having any friendship with that person.
Ordinarily, there is some purpose for deriving certain benefits out of an association with another.
When you meet someone in friendship, there may be some intention to serve one another.
But I have no friends. Even this “I Amness” will not remain as my friend.
I am not able to talk any longer—the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Previously I used to welcome people but now I am not in a position to welcome them.
They come, they sit and they go by themselves. I cannot even extend my hospitality.
All my knowledge has gone into liquidation. I am unconcerned.

Consciousness and the Absolute 112-114

Pleasure puts you to sleep and pain wakes you up. If you don’t
want to suffer, don’t go to sleep.

“Life ceases to be a task
